# §345.50. General.


[Title 18](/cfr/18.md) U. S. Code [section 4126](/cfr/28/4126.md) authorizes FPI to compensate inmates under rules and regulations promulgated by the Attorney General. It is the policy of FPI to provide compensation to FPI inmate workers through various conditions of pay and benefits, except as otherwise provided in these regulations.
