# §0.35. General functions; delegation of authority.


Under the general supervision of the Attorney General and the direction of the Deputy Attorney General, the following-described matters are assigned to, and shall be conducted, handled or supervised by, the Pardon Attorney but subject to the limitation contained in [§ 0.36](/cfr/28/0.36.md) of this chapter.

- (a) Exercise of the powers and performance of the functions vested in the Attorney General by [§§ 1.1 through 1.8](/cfr/28/1.1..1.8.md) inclusive of this chapter.
- (b) Performance of such other duties as may be assigned by the Attorney General or the Deputy Attorney General.
