# §771.42. Grounds for revocation of licenses or permits.


Whenever the Director of Industry Operations has reason to believe that any holder of a license or permit has willfully violated any provision of 18 U.S.C. chapter [40](/cfr/27/ch40.md) or [27](/cfr/27/ch27.md) CFR [part 555](/cfr/27/part555.md) or has become ineligible to continue operations authorized under the license or permit, the Director of Industry Operations shall issue a notice for the revocation of such license or permit, as the case may be.
