# §72.51. Rate of compensation.


Each appraiser selected under [§ 72.22(a)(2)](/cfr/27/72.22.md?p=a-2) shall receive compensation at a reasonable fee not to exceed $15.00 per hour or portion thereof for the performance of his or her duties in appraising property seized as subject to forfeiture under [Title 26](/cfr/26.md) U.S.C.
