# §41.195. Trade name certificate.


Every person that files an application for a permit as an importer of tobacco products operating under a trade name must furnish with the application for the permit required by [§ 41.191](/cfr/27/41.191.md) a true copy of the certificate or other document, if any, issued by a State, county, or municipal authority in connection with the transaction of business under the trade name. If no such certificate or other document is issued by the State, county, or municipal authority, a written statement, in duplicate, to that effect by the person will be sufficient for purposes of this section.
