# §28.223. Export marks.


In addition to the marks and brands required to be placed on kegs, barrels, cases, crates or other packages under the provisions of [part 25](/cfr/27/part25.md) of this chapter, the exporter shall mark the word “Export” on each container or case before removal for export, for use on vessels or aircraft, or for transfer to a foreign-trade zone.
