# §24.211. Formula required.


The proprietor who desires to produce wine other than standard wine shall first obtain approval of the formula by which it is to be made, except that no formula is required for distilling material or vinegar stock. The formula is filed as provided by [§ 24.80](/cfr/27/24.80.md). Any change in the formula will be approved in advance as provided by [§ 24.81](/cfr/27/24.81.md).
