# §700.285. Amendment of records.


The Privacy Act permits an individual to request amendment of a record pertaining to him if be believes the record is not accurate, relevant, timely or complete, [5 U.S.C. 552a(d)(2)](/usc/5/552a.md?p=d-2). A request for amendment of a record shall be submitted in accordance with the procedures in this subpart.
