# §537.4. Determinations.


The Chair shall determine whether the results of a background investigation preclude the Chair from approving a management contract because of the individual disqualifying factors contained in [§ 533.6(b)(1)](/cfr/25/533.6.md?p=b-1) of this chapter. The Chair shall promptly notify the tribe and management contractor if any findings preclude the Chair from approving a management contract or a change in financial interest.
