# §169.6. What statutory authority will BIA use to act on requests for rights-of-way under this part?


BIA will act on requests for rights-of-way using the authority in [25 U.S.C. 323-328](/usc/25/323-328.md), and relying on supplementary authority such as [25 U.S.C. 2218](/usc/25/2218.md), where appropriate.
