# §169.303. What happens if BIA denies a right-of-way document?


If we deny the right-of-way grant, renewal, amendment, assignment, or mortgage, we will notify the parties immediately and advise the landowners and the applicant of their right to appeal the decision under [part 2](/cfr/25/part2.md) of this chapter.
