# §162.445. May the parties amend a business lease?


The parties may amend a business lease by obtaining:

- (a) The lessee's signature;
- (b) The Indian landowners' consent under the requirements in [§ 162.446](/cfr/25/162.446.md); and
- (c) BIA approval of the amendment under §§ [162.447](/cfr/25/162.447.md) and [162.448](/cfr/25/162.448.md).
