# §162.362. What happens if BIA disapproves an amendment, assignment, sublease, or leasehold mortgage?


If we disapprove an amendment, assignment, sublease, or leasehold mortgage of a residential lease, we will notify the parties immediately and advise the landowners of their right to appeal the decision under [part 2](/cfr/25/part2.md) of this chapter.
