# §92.4. Waivers and suspension of requirements for disaster areas.


HUD's authority for waiver of regulations and for the suspension of requirements to address damage in a Presidentially declared disaster area is described in [24 CFR 5.110](/cfr/24/5.110.md) and in section 290 of the Act, respectively.
