# §92.357. Executive Order 12372.

- (a) **General.** Executive Order 12372, as amended by Executive Order 12416 ([3 CFR](/cfr/3.md), 1982 Comp., p. 197 and [3 CFR](/cfr/3.md), 1983 Comp., p. 186) (Intergovernmental Review of Federal Programs) and HUD's implementing regulations at [24 CFR part 52](/cfr/24/part52.md), allow each State to establish its own process for review and comment on proposed Federal financial assistance programs.
- (b) **Applicability.** Executive Order 12372 applies to applications submitted with respect to HOME funds being competitively reallocated under [subpart J](/cfr/24/subpartJ.md) of this part to units of general local government.
