# §906.35. Inapplicability of section 18 of the United States Housing Act of 1937.


The provisions of [section 18](/cfr/24/18.md) of the 1937 Act ([42 U.S.C. 1437p](/usc/42/1437p.md)) do not apply to disposition of public housing dwelling units under a homeownership program approved by HUD under this part, or to the sale of a unit to a PRE to operate as public housing and sell to a low-income family within 5 years, under the requirements of [§ 906.19](/cfr/24/906.19.md).
