# §886.104. Invitations to participate.

- (a) HUD shall identify Eligible Projects which are most likely to meet the selection criteria set forth in [§ 886.117](/cfr/24/886.117.md), and shall invite the Owners of such projects to make application for [Section 8](/cfr/24/8.md) assistance under this part.
- (b) An Owner of an Eligible Project who has not been notified pursuant to [paragraph (a)](#a) of this section may also make application for such assistance.
