# §882.101. Applicability.

- (a) **The provisions of this part apply to the Section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation program.**
- (b) This part states the policies and procedures to be used by a PHA in administering a [Section 8](/cfr/24/8.md) Moderate Rehabilitation program. The purpose of this program is to upgrade substandard rental housing and to provide rental subsidies for low-income families.
- (c) [Subpart H](/cfr/24/subpartH.md) of this part only applies to the [Section 8](/cfr/24/8.md) Moderate Rehabilitation Single Room Occupancy Program for Homeless Individuals.
