# §81.101. Equal employment opportunity.


Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac shall comply with sections [1](/cfr/24/1.md) and [2](/cfr/24/2.md) of Executive Order 11478 ([3 CFR](/cfr/3.md), 1966-1970 Compilation, p. 803), as amended by Executive Order 12106, ([3 CFR](/cfr/3.md), 1978, Compilation, p. 263), providing for the adoption and implementation of equal employment opportunity, as required by [section 1216](/cfr/24/1216.md) of the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989 ([12 U.S.C. 1833e](/usc/12/1833e.md)).
