# §570.605. National Flood Insurance Program.


Notwithstanding the date of HUD approval of the recipient's application (or, in the case of grants made under [subpart D](/cfr/24/subpartD.md) of this part or HUD-administered small cities recipients in Hawaii, the date of submission of the grantee's consolidated plan, in accordance with [24 CFR part 91](/cfr/24/part91.md)), section 202(a) of the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973 ([42 U.S.C. 4106](/usc/42/4106.md)) and the regulations in 44 CFR parts [59](/cfr/44/part59.md) through [79](/cfr/44/part79.md) apply to funds provided under this part 570.
