# §570.464. Project closeout.


HUD will advise the recipient to initiate closeout procedures when HUD determines, in consultation with the recipient, that there are not impediments to closeout. Closeout shall be carried out in accordance with [§ 570.509](/cfr/24/570.509.md) and applicable HUD guidelines.
