# §50.18. General.

- (a) The Departmental Environmental Clearance Officer (DECO) shall establish a prescribed format to be used to document compliance with NEPA and the Federal laws and authorities cited in [§ 50.4](/cfr/24/50.4.md). The DECO may prescribe alternative formats as necessary to meet specific program needs.
- (b) HUD may, from time to time, complete programmatic reviews that further avoid the necessity of complying with the laws and authorities in [§ 50.4](/cfr/24/50.4.md) on a property-by-property basis.
