# §5.634. Tenant rent.

- (a) **Section 8 programs.** For [Section 8](/cfr/24/8.md) programs other than the [Section 8](/cfr/24/8.md) voucher program, tenant rent is total tenant payment minus any utility allowance.
- (b) **Public housing.** See [§ 960.253](/cfr/24/960.253.md) of this title for the determination of tenant rent.
