- (a) **Providing instructions to purchaser or lessee.**
  - (1) For each manufactured home sold or leased to a purchaser or lessee, the retailer must provide the purchaser or lessee with the manufacturer's DAPIA-approved installation instructions for the home, a copy of which is shipped with the home in accordance with [§ 3285.2](/cfr/24/3285.2.md) of this chapter.

The retailer or manufacturer must provide the installation design and instructions to the purchaser or lessee.
