# §247.1. Applicability.

- (a) Except as provided in §§ [247.5](/cfr/24/247.5.md) and [247.6(c)](/cfr/24/247.6.md?p=c), the provisions of this subpart shall apply to all decisions by a landlord to terminate the occupancy of a tenant in a subsidized project as defined in [§ 247.2(e)](/cfr/24/247.2.md?p=e). (Termination of tenancy of a family assisted with tenant-based assistance under the Housing Voucher Program is not subject to this part.)
- (b) Landlords of subsidized projects that have been assisted under a covered housing program listed in [24 CFR 5.2003](/cfr/24/5.2003.md) must comply with [24 CFR part 5](/cfr/24/part5.md), [subpart L](/cfr/24/subpartL.md) (Protection for Victims of Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, or Stalking), as described in [§ 200.38](/cfr/24/200.38.md).
