# §924.17. MIRE fundamental data elements.


The MIRE fundamental data elements shall be collected on all public roads, as listed in Tables 1, 2, and 3 of this section. For the purpose of MIRE fundamental data elements applicability, the term open to public travel is consistent with [23 CFR 460.2(c)](/cfr/23/460.2.md?p=c).
