# §646.208. Funding.

- (a) Railroad/highway crossing projects may be funded through the Federal-aid funding source appropriate for the involved project.
- (b) Projects for the elimination of hazards at railroad/highway crossings may, at the option of the State, be funded with the funds provided by [23 U.S.C. 133(d)(1)](/usc/23/133.md?p=d-1).
