# §490.801. Purpose.


The purpose of this subpart is to implement the requirements of [23 U.S.C. 150(c)(5)(B)](/usc/23/150.md?p=c-5-B) to establish performance measures for State DOTs and the MPOs to use in assessing on-road mobile source emissions.
