# §1300.50. General.


Where a State is found to be in non-compliance with the requirements of the grant programs authorized under 23 U.S.C. Chapter 4 or [Section 1906](/cfr/23/1906.md), or with other applicable law, the sanctions in §§ [1300.51](/cfr/23/1300.51.md) and [1300.52](/cfr/23/1300.52.md), and any other sanctions or remedies permitted under Federal law, including the specific conditions of 2 CFR [200.208](/cfr/2/200.208.md) and [200.339](/cfr/2/200.339.md), may be applied as appropriate.
