# §1225.10. Apportionment of withheld funds after compliance.


If a State has not met the requirements of [23 U.S.C. 163](/usc/23/163.md) and [§ 1225.4](/cfr/23/1225.4.md) of this part by October 1, 2007, the funds withheld under [§ 1225.8](/cfr/23/1225.8.md) shall begin to lapse and will no longer be available for apportionment to the State, in accordance with appendix A of this part.
