# §99.1. Definitions.


As used in this part, the term:

- (a) Convention means the Convention on Protection of Children and Co-operation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption done at The Hague on May 29, 1993.
- (b) Such other terms as are defined in [22 CFR 96.2](/cfr/22/96.2.md) shall have the meaning given to them therein.
