# §901.19. Labor organization.


Labor organization means any employee organization accorded recognition as the exclusive employee representative under [section 1002(11)](/cfr/22/1002.md?p=11) of the Act. For the Department of State and the Agency for International Development (AID), the exclusive employee representative is the American Foreign Service Association; for the U.S. Information Agency (USIA), the exclusive employee representative is the American Federation of Government Employees, Local 1812 (AFL-CIO).
