# §870.2330. Echocardiograph.

- (a) **Identification.** An echocardiograph is a device that uses ultrasonic energy to create images of cardiovascular structures. It includes phased arrays and two-dimensional scanners.
- (b) **Classification.** Class II (performance standards).
