# §556.600. Spectinomycin.

- (a) **Acceptable daily intake (ADI).** The ADI for total residue of spectinomycin is 25 µg/kg of body weight per day.
- (b) **Tolerances.** The tolerances for spectinomycin are:
  - (1) **Cattle.**
    - (i) **Kidney (target tissue)—** 4 ppm spectinomycin (marker residue).
    - (ii) **Muscle—** 0.25 ppm.
  - (2) **Chickens and turkeys.** Edible tissues (excluding eggs): 0.1 ppm.
  - (3) **Swine.** Edible tissues: Not required.
