# §510.203. Initiation of a proceeding to establish or amend an import tolerance.

- (a) Any interested person may request that the Commissioner establish or amend an import tolerance. Such a request must be in the form specified in [§ 510.205](/cfr/21/510.205.md) of this chapter.
- (b) The Commissioner may initiate a proceeding to establish or amend an import tolerance on his or her own initiative pursuant to [§ 10.25(b)](/cfr/21/10.25.md?p=b) of this chapter.
