# §182.99. Adjuvants for pesticide chemicals.


Adjuvants, identified and used in accordance with 40 CFR [180.910](/cfr/40/180.910.md) and [40](/cfr/40/40.md) CFR 180.920, which are added to pesticide use dilutions by a grower or applicator prior to application to the raw agricultural commodity, are exempt from the requirement of tolerances under [section 409](/cfr/21/409.md) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act ([21 U.S.C. 348](/usc/21/348.md)).
