# §704.103. Removal of certain minimums when computing or paying compensation.


The minimum limitation on weekly compensation for disability established by [section 6](/cfr/20/6.md) of the LHWCA, [33 U.S.C. 906](/usc/33/906.md), and the minimum limit on the average weekly wages on which death benefits are to be computed under [section 9](/cfr/20/9.md) of the LHWCA, [33 U.S.C. 909](/usc/33/909.md), shall not apply in computing compensation and death benefits under this Act; [section 2(a)](/cfr/20/2.md?p=a), [42 U.S.C. 1652(a)](/usc/42/1652.md?p=a).
