# §702.402. Employer's duty to furnish; duration.


It is the duty of the employer to furnish appropriate medical care (as defined in [§ 702.401(a)](/cfr/20/702.401.md?p=a)) for the employee's injury, and for such period as the nature of the injury or the process of recovery may require.
