# §686.360. What are the requirements for award of contracts and payments to Federal agencies?

- (a) The requirements of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949, as amended; the Federal Grant and Cooperative Agreement Act of 1977; the Federal Acquisition Regulation ([48 CFR chapter 1](/cfr/48/ch1.md)); and the Department of Labor Acquisition Regulation ([48 CFR chapter 29](/cfr/48/ch29.md)) apply to the award of contracts and to payments to Federal agencies.
- (b) Job Corps funding of Federal agencies that operate CCCs are made by a transfer of obligational authority from the Department to the respective operating agency.
