# §684.940. What is the role of the Native American Employment and Training Council?


The Native American Employment and Training Council is a body composed of representatives of the grantee community which advises the Secretary on the operation and administration of the INA employment and training program. WIOA [sec. 166(i)(4)](/cfr/20/166.md?p=i-4) continues the Council essentially as it is currently constituted. The Department continues to support the Council.
