# §679.350. What criteria will be used to establish the membership of the Local Workforce Development Board?


The Local WDB is appointed by the chief elected official(s) in the local area in accordance with State criteria established under WIOA [sec. 107(b)](/cfr/20/107.md?p=b), and is certified by the Governor every 2 years, in accordance with WIOA [sec. 107(c)(2)](/cfr/20/107.md?p=c-2).
