# §404.735. Evidence you are the grandchild or stepgrandchild.


If you are the grandchild or stepgrandchild of the insured person, we will ask you for the kind of evidence described in [§§ 404.731 through 404.733](/cfr/20/404.731..404.733.md) that shows your relationship to your parent and your parent's relationship to the insured.
