# §30.902. How will OWCP calculate the amount of the award of impairment benefits that is payable under Part E?

- (a) OWCP will multiply the percentage points of the impairment rating by $2,500 to calculate the amount of the award.
- (b) An employee's impairment rating may be comprised of multiple impairments of organs and body functions due to multiple covered illnesses. If an impairment award is payable based on a whole person impairment rating in which at least one of the impairments is subject to a reduction under [§§ 30.505(b)](/cfr/20/30.505.md?p=b) and/or 30.626, OWCP will reduce the impairment award proportionately.
