# §10.725. When is a Federal grand or petit juror covered under the FECA?

- (a) Federal grand and petit jurors are covered under the FECA when they are in performance of duty as a juror, which includes that time when a juror is:
  - (1) In attendance at court pursuant to a summons;
  - (2) In deliberation;
  - (3) Sequestered by order of a judge; or
  - (4) **At a site, by order of the court, for the taking of a view.**
- (b) A juror is not considered to be in the performance of duty while traveling to or from home in connection with the activities enumerated in [paragraphs (a)](#a) (1) through (4) of this section.
