# §10.335. How are medical bills submitted?


Usually, medical providers submit bills directly to OWCP or to a bill processing agent designated by OWCP. The rules for submitting and paying bills are stated in [subpart I](/cfr/20/subpartI.md) of this part. An employee claiming reimbursement of medical expenses should submit an itemized bill as described in [§ 10.802](/cfr/20/10.802.md).
