# §3001.510. What actions will the Federal Government take against a recipient determined to have violated this part?


If a recipient is determined to have violated [2 CFR part 182](/cfr/2/part182.md), as implemented by this part, the agency will take one or more of the following actions—

- (a) Suspension of payments under the award;
- (b) Suspension or termination of the award; and
- (c) Suspension or debarment of the recipient under 2 CFR part [180](/cfr/2/part180.md) and [2](/cfr/2/part2.md) CFR [part 3000](/cfr/2/part3000.md), for a period not to exceed five years.
