# §180.20. What must a Federal agency do to implement these guidelines?


As [Section 3](/cfr/2/3.md) of Executive Order 12549 requires, each Federal agency with nonprocurement programs and activities covered by subparts [A](/cfr/2/subpartA.md) through [I](/cfr/2/subpartI.md) of the guidance must issue regulations consistent with those subparts.
