# §1120.110. Use of alternative to DoD form.

- (a) A DoD Component may use something other than a DoD form as its award cover pages only if:
  - (1) There is not currently any DoD form for the award cover pages; or
  - (2) The DoD Component obtains approval for a deviation from the requirement to use a DoD form from the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, in accordance with the procedures specified in [32 CFR 21.340](/cfr/32/21.340.md).
- (b) If a DoD Component does not use a DoD form for its award cover pages, as described in [paragraph (a)](#a) of this section, its award cover pages must include all information specified in [§ 1120.105](/cfr/2/1120.105.md).
