# §208.10. Who may file a petition or request.


An investigation under this subpart may be commenced upon the request of the President or upon receipt of a petition, properly filed, by an interested party described in [§ 208.2(i)](/cfr/19/208.2.md?p=i) of this part, which is representative of a United States long-haul trucking services industry, as defined by the Commission in its determination under [section 322](/cfr/19/322.md) of the Act.
