# §201.1. Applicability of part.


This part relates generally to functions and activities of the Commission under various statutes and other legal authority. Rules having special application appear separately in parts [202](/cfr/19/part202.md) through [207](/cfr/19/part207.md), inclusive, and parts [210](/cfr/19/part210.md), [212](/cfr/19/part212.md) and 213, of this chapter. In case of inconsistency between a rule of general application and a rule of special application, the latter is controlling.
